Tony Pastor (born Antonio Pestritto; October 26, – October 31, )[1] was an Italian Americannovelty singer and tenor saxophonist.[2][3]
Career
He was born in Middletown, Connecticut, United States.[1] Pastor began playing saxophone when he was sixteen.[4] He played tenor sax with John Cavallaro (), Irving Aaronson (–30), and Austin Wylie (), then opened his own night club in Hartford, Connecticut and led the band there for three years.[4] After that, he played with Smith Ballew (), Joe Venuti, Paul Fredricks, Vincent L
